Crunchy Peanut Butter Oats Granola
Ingredients
  • 120g homemade peanut butter (100% peanuts only)
  • 40g maple syrup 
  • 90g Quaker Whole Rolled Oats
  • 30g Quaker Instant Oatmeal
  • Pinch of sat
  • Optional add-ons:
  • 50g cashew nuts
  • 50g dried cranberries 
  • 25g shaved baking chocolate
Procedure
  1. Preheat oven at 200C for 5mins

  2. In a small bowl, mix together oats and salt. Set aside

  3. In a microwave safe dish or on the stovetop, melt the peanut butter and maple syrup together until smooth.

  4. Remove from heat. Stir in dry ingredients and mix until well combined.

  5. Spread mixture on ofen tray

  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes, or until granola is lightly browned, stirring the granola once gently half way through. (A great way to test for doneness is to remove a small portion of the granola from the pan and set it on the counter. If it hardens as it cools the rest of the granola is done)!

  7. Remove from oven and let sit until cooled.

  8. Once cooled, break apart and eat!
