Cereal Oat Milk Ice Cream

- 3/4 cup Quaker Quick Cook Oatmeal
- 600 ml cold water
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 75g cornflakes
- 300ml heavy cream
- 80g sugar
- Pinch of salt


1. Put the Quaker Quick Cook Oatmeal and cold water into a blender and blend at high speed for 30 seconds

2. Strain the oat milk mixture through a mesh sieve or nut milk bag

3. Add the vanilla extract to the strained oat milk

4. Toast the cornflakes in a toaster at 150C for 12 minutes

5. Add the toasted cornflakes to the oat milk and steep for 20 minutes

6. Strain the oat milk and corn flakes to get around 500ml of cereal oat milk

7. Add the cereal oat milk, heavy cream, sugar and salt into a pot and cook until the sugar has dissolved

8. Cool the mixture in the refrigerator overnight

9. Churn in an ice cream machine according to its instructions
