Savory Sourdough Oat Crackers
Ingredients
  • 200g sourdough starter discard
  • 1/4 cup of quick oats
  • 28g butter
  • 2 teaspoon of dried herbs of choice (rosemary, thyme, sesame seeds..etc)
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • Water
Procedure
  1. Preheat oven to 160 degrees Celsius
     
  2. Melt butter and let rest to room temperature
     
  3. Blend quick oats until fine
     
  4. Combine and mix blended oats, sourdough discard together with the herbs, salt, and melted butter
     
  5. Add small amounts of water as necessary
     
  6. Use a butter knife to spread onto tray that's lined with baking paper
     
  7. Bake for 10 minutes. Use a knife or pizza cutter to cut up crackers to preferred size
     
  8. Continue baking for 30 minutes or until golden brown
     
  9. Enjoy your healthy snack!
