Ocean Oaty Basmati Rice
Ingredients
  • 2 cups of Basmati Rice
  • 4 Tbsp of Quaker instant oat
  • 2.5 cups water
  • 2 Tbsp olive oil 
  • 1 yellow onion onion, chopped 
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced 
  • 2 tomato ?, diced 
  • Half green capsicum ?, seeded and sliced 
  • 1 Tsp paprika 
  • 1 Tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 Tsp curry powder
  • 1 Tsp salt
  • 6 pcs scallops
  • 6 pcs mussels 
  • 6 pcs prawns ? 
  • Lemon ?, cut into wedges
  • Parsley ?, chopped
Procedure
  1. Heat up olive oil in a large skillet and add in garlic, onion tomato
  2. Stir in Paprika, Turmeric, curry powder and salt
  3. Add Basmati Rice in and make sure the rice is coated evenly 
  4. Add in water and Quaker instant oat 
  5. Cover the skillet and bring to boil
  6. Cook the oat rice on low heat for around 15mins
  7. Stir occasionally till the rice is tender
  8. Lay capsicum, scallops , mussels and prawns on top of the rice and cook for another 15mins
  9. Use butter to pan fried some Quaker oat for the rice topping 
  10. Serve the seafood Oaty rice with lemon wedges and some parsley 

 

Seafood and healthy Quaker oat provide natural sources of vitamins and minerals, this will be a Healthy Quaker Oaty-licious meal during festive gathering.
