Ingredients

For every 2 tacos:

  • 15g quaker oats
  • 1 egg
  • 50 g chicken fillet
  • Lettuce leaves

 

Optional:

  • Pepper
  • Paprika

 

Procedure

Taco shell:

  1. Break and beat the egg, and then mix with quaker oats. (Optional: add seasonings such as pepper, paprika to the mixture)
  2. Pre-heat a frying pan, add 0.5 tsp of oil and then set flame to small (strong flame may cause the shell to burn)
  3. Pour the egg-oats mixture into the frying pan
  4. When the base is firm enough, flip to the other side until it is fully cooked

 

Taco filling:

  1. Marinate the chicken fillet with salt and pepper or any of your preferred choice of condiments.
  2. Place the chicken fillet in a baking dish and bake for 20-25 minutes at 250 degree Celsius until chicken is cooked through
  3. Shred the cooked chicken fillet with fork

*You can also pan-fry the chicken fillet or opt for other meat

 

Taco:

  1. Place the shredded chicken into the taco shell
  2. Add vegetables of your choice such as lettuce, tomatoes
  3. Drizzle the taco with sauces if you would like to (such as salsa, sesame sauce etc)
  4. Tuck in and enjoy!
